Compare every letter and number, or copy a whole alphabet. Characters without a matching Unicode form stay unchanged: script and blackletter have no styled digits, and small-text alphabets have gaps.
Enter a word or name, choose Circled for outlined letters or Filled Circles for a darker style, and press Copy. Outlined letters preserve uppercase and lowercase input. The filled alphabet uses capital shapes.
A bubble font can also mean an outline typeface for drawing, posters or worksheets. This tool creates individual letters inside circles; it does not export a connected outline font or a printable tracing sheet.

Outlined circled letters cover the full alphabet in both cases plus digits, including a zero, so a mixed word keeps its capitalisation. Filled (negative) circled letters only exist for capitals, so lower-case input is drawn with capital shapes. That is a Unicode limitation, not a shortcut taken here.
The filled set is much louder. It works for a short tag or a single word; a whole sentence in filled circles is hard to read because the letter shapes are knocked out of solid discs.
If circles feel too soft, the squared alphabets do the same job with straight edges — outlined squares for a technical look, filled squares for something closer to a badge. Filled squares are the most popular choice for gaming tags because they stay legible when rendered small.
Both squared sets are capitals-only in Unicode, exactly like filled circles.
Bubble letters read as playful and friendly, which suits community names, kids’ content, craft shops, group chats and anything cheerful. They also make excellent short labels — a single circled letter as a bullet, or a circled number as a step marker in a list.
They are a poor fit for long text: every letter is boxed into a circle, so words lose the outline shape that makes reading fast.
You are using a filled variant. Unicode only encoded capitals for negative circled and squared letters, so lower case is drawn with the capital shape. Use the outlined circled style if case matters.
Yes. Outlined circles include 0–9, and the filled set includes 1–10 plus a filled zero. Both are applied automatically when your text contains digits.
Some platforms treat those characters as emoji and draw them from the colour emoji font. The same characters are monochrome on most desktops, so the look changes between devices.
Yes, in bios, captions, comments and display names. As always, the @username field rejects them.
Less than plain text. Screen readers often announce these as “circled letter A” and so on, which is slow to listen to. Use them for short decorative labels rather than sentences.
